One hundred days of school have come and gone. Time flies really quickly when you are as busy as we have been in grade 8. Catholic Schools Week was a fun break from the February cold. We had a great time at bingo, and our family lunch was once again a wonderful afternoon of mingling and sharing a meal with our extended school family.

The grade 7 and 8 classes are attending winter camp in Winkler next week, from February 24th to the 26th. We are looking forward to some fine weather, fun activities and a chance to bond and share an exciting experience together.

A reminder to the grade 8 class that their novel study, "Freak the Mighty" is going to be due on February 29th. Make sure you have all of your activities and assignments finished.

A reminder to parents that term two reports are going out March 3rd. Parent teacher conference request forms will be included with the report. We will only be requesting a conference if we feel there is a need, however feel free to ask for an appointment should you feel you would like to meet with us.

Merry Christmas everyone!
We are working hard to prepare for our annual Christmas concert on December 17th. We hope to see all of you.

Our last day before Christmas Break is Friday, December 18th. It will be an early dismissal day, and there will be no after school program.

Classes resume on January 4th. I hope everyone has an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate before returning to school in the new year.

Grade 7 and 8 exams start the week of January 18th until the 22nd. Exam review outlines have gone home already, so students should do a little review over the Christmas Break.

October is upon us.

Our annual Halloween party is coming up on October, 25th, we always need parent and student volunteers in order to make the event run smoothly.

A reminder that the deadline for ordering yearbooks is just around the corner. We need to sell at least 30 yearbooks by November 1st in order to begin working on the books. Without enough orders we can't have a yearbook, so keep them coming.

There is a copy of the yearbook order form in the September and October newsletters. Follow this link to print out a copy.
