St. Gerard School - Grade 8

Grade 8

We are currently working on several things in ELA. We are listening to the novel "The graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman, and the students are keeping a listening response journal.

Our T.U.S.C (The Ultimate Speaking Club) meetings are taking place each school cycle on day 5. Each student has an assigned task to complete and present at our weekly meeting. Students are responsible for checking the schedule for their weekly assignment.

We are also doing weekly assignments in grammar using the "Communicating Skills - Level 8" program. Comm. Skills work is due every Friday. 

We do a spelling pretest every Monday after which we receive our weekly spelling work assignment which is due every Thursday.
