Hello, all!
It is a new year, and the grade 8 students are currently
participating in remote learning. Each student was sent home with a package of
work before Christmas break, and they are meeting regularly via Microsoft TEAMS to ensure the
consistency and continuation of their learning during this unprecedented time.
We are currently finishing up our social studies unit on Ancient Egypt.
The grade eight class is just finishing a novel study and have a SKOOB book report to complete for January 19th.
We just began a new unit in French. Our new unit is called
Choix Multiples, in which we are learning about careers and fields of study.
If all goes well, we will be able to return to the school on
Monday, January 18th, to continue our learning together, in person.
